Aleem joined the DWM private equity team as a Vice President in 2009 after an internship in 2008. He has six years of experience with socially responsible, double and triple bottom line venture capital and private equity funds in the U.S. and Europe.
Prior to joining DWM, Aleem served as an Investment Associate for Bridges Community Ventures, a UK-based private equity and venture capital firm that invests in double and triple bottom line projects in the most economically deprived areas of the UK. Previously, Aleem worked as a Senior Associate at the New York City Investment Fund, a private, double bottom line fund that invests in SMEs to promote the creation of jobs and improvement of impoverished areas of New York.
Aleem started his career as a corporate finance analyst for JP Morgan, where he served in an advisory capacity for transportation and diversified industrials clients world-wide.
Aleem received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BA in Economics and Finance from Princeton University. He is conversant in Hindi, Gujarati, Kutchi and Spanish.
