Alex joined DWM in 2009. He manages relationships with MFIs in Eastern Europe and former Soviet Union countries with a focus on Central Asia. Alex's main responsibilities include origination and analysis of debt investments, MFI due diligence, economic and political risk analysis and private equity transaction support.

Prior to joining DWM, Alex held an FP&A position with Crane Co, an international manufacturer of various engineered products. He focused on financial planning, analysis and due diligence. As a part of Corporate FP&A group, he performed financial modeling to project the earnings and cash flows of a $2.6 billion company. As an Associate with Deloitte, Alex was involved in auditing, financial statement analysis, and M&A advisory.

Alex has 8 years of direct working experience in Eastern Europe, Russia and Central Asia. He received his MBA in Finance and Accounting from the Simon Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Rochester. He graduated from Moscow State Tech University with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. Alex has visited 23 countries and speaks fluent Russian.
