Hiroshi Amemiya

Hiroshi joined DWM in 2009. As a product development and sustainability expert, Hiroshi focuses on investor development and advises institutional investors on portfolio diversification through sustainable investments such as microfinance.
Prior to joining DWM, Hiroshi served as the Vice President for Morgan Stanley Asset and Investment Trust Management in Tokyo and worked on developing investment products for both institutional and retail investors. Previously, Hiroshi worked as the Vice President for Credit Suisse Asset Management in Tokyo and worked as a portfolio manager overseeing foreign equities, foreign bonds and foreign currencies. As a sustainability expert, he founded his own consulting firm focusing on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and social entrepreneurship. He has translated and published books and DVDs on globalization and social entrepreneurship in Japan.
Hiroshi received a MPA from Harvard's Kennedy School and a MBA from Columbia Business School where he participated in an exchange program with HEC School of Management in Paris, France. He has a BA in Economics from Keio University in Tokyo, Japan. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and speaks Japanese fluently.
