Jessica joined DWM in 2009. As a member of the private equity team, she is primarily responsible for MFI due diligence, financial modeling, and monitoring of equity investments in emerging market financial institutions that specialize in microfinance and small business lending.

Prior to joining DWM, Jessica was a Management Associate at ProCredit Holding, a group of 22 microfinance banks in Eastern Europe, Latin America, and Africa. At ProCredit, she implemented strategic projects to raise capital and improve the human resources and marketing strategies of the holding's subsidiaries. As a Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow in Germany, she focused on the topic of SME financing at KfW Development Bank, a German government-owned bank that finances investments in developing countries. Jessica also served as Operations Manager at Partners for the Common Good (PCG), a nonprofit loan fund, from 2003 to 2004 and later worked with PCG as an underwriting consultant. In 2009, Jessica was appointed to PCG's Loan Advisory Committee. Her experience also includes a year in Nepal where she worked with Pact's Women's Empowerment Program to promote village banking and microenterprise development.

Jessica holds a Masters degree in Public Policy from Harvard University's Kennedy School and an A.B. in Politics from Princeton University. She speaks fluent German and conversational Spanish.
