Jonathan Taylor
- Associate Counsel
Jonathan joined DWM in July 2010 as assistant legal counsel and was made associate leagal counsel in January 2012. He focuses on legal issues in both MFI investment and fund management for DWM.
Most recently, Jonathan was Legal Fellow at the Rainforest Foundation US, working on international legal projects with indigenous peoples in Latin America. Previously Jonathan worked as a corporate associate at the New York law firm of Simpson Thacher and Bartlett, LLP, focusing on Latin American capital market transactions. Prior to that, Jonathan also worked in several governmental and nongovernmental organizations in the US and in Latin America.
Jonathan graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with an A.B. in Government and a certificate in Latin American Studies. He has a J.D. from Columbia University and an MA in International Relations and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
He speaks fluent Spanish and proficient Portuguese, and is a member of the New York bar.
