Yrenilsa joined DWM in 2011 and is responsible for the credit analysis and due diligence for DWM debt investments with a focus on Latin America.
Prior to joining DWM, Yrenilsa was a Leadership Fellow at the Port Authority of NY & NJ, where she worked on various capital and infrastructure projects in the metro New York City region. During her graduate studies she spent a semester in Rome, Italy working with Vision and Value Management Consultants analyzing European Union regional development programs, and studied the use of structural funds by Spanish small and medium enterprises. Yrenilsa also interned with the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) as part of the SME Finance team, and wrote her graduate thesis on the Dominican Republic's microfinance sector.
Yrenilsa received an MPA from Cornell University, with a concentration in Finance and Fiscal Policy. She also received her BA in Sociology with a concentration in Organizational Business from Cornell University. Yrenilsa recently passed Level 2 of the the CFA exam; she is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Italian.
