Eric Meyer, CFAVice President, Africa & Middle East

Eric joined DWM in 2011 and has held roles within DWM’s Debt, Products & Partnerships, and Fund Management teams. Currently, Eric leads the management of DWM’s fixed income assets within Africa & the Middle East.

Prior to DWM, Eric was a product manager for Opportunity International Network, where he worked closely with the organization’s African banking operations and global fundraising teams with respect to capital planning and budgeting, strategic development, and requisite program reporting for the Network’s agricultural finance initiative. Eric also held positions within Opportunity International’s Risk Management Team, where he conducted internal credit ratings of partner microfinance operations and developed the Network’s risk governance and reporting framework.

Eric received his BA in Philosophy cum laude from Rice University in Houston, Texas, where he also served as a research assistant at Rice’s Jones School of Management, focusing on corporate environment and social performance, implementation of strategy, management control systems, and performance measurement within the microfinance industry.

Eric is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.
