Hunter has been associated with DWM since January, 2010, serving on portfolio company boards in Bolivia, Peru and Mexico. He also has sourced new business for the DWM debt team and provides local perspective, having lived and worked in Latin America for much of the past thirty years from his base in Costa Rica.
Hunter brings senior level finance and governance experience in Latin America, having managed his own business advisory company for fifteen years -clients include agricultural and microfinance institutions, DWM and European development finance banks– and having worked in development finance for nearly twenty years prior to that as a senior executive for Latin American Agribusiness Development Corporation. He started his Latin American career with Dole Fresh Fruit in Central America.
Hunter has a BA from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of Southern California and is fluent in Spanish and conversational in French.
