Chiara Borneman

Chiara joined DWM in 2026, focusing on Client & Impact Solutions activities across Europe.

Before joining DWM, Chiara spent eight years at Phenix Capital Group, most recently as Director of Advisory. She advised institutional investors globally, particularly pension funds, on designing and implementing impact investment mandates, from defining portfolio guidelines and mapping investable opportunities, to manager selection and impact due diligence. She also worked with asset managers on developing impact funds and frameworks and strengthening impact integration across the investment process.

Earlier in her career, Chiara worked at a boutique management consultancy firm in India and a foundation in Argentina.

Chiara holds an MSc in Business Administration from Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Management and the CFA Institute Sustainable Investing Certificate. She is a native Italian speaker, bilingual in Dutch, and fluent in English and Spanish.
