Naimjon joined Developing World Markets in 2013 as a consultant and works with the Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Caucasus private credit origination team.

Before joining DWM, Naimjon worked for approximately eight years at IMON International, the largest microfinance institution in Tajikistan, ultimately as the head of treasury within the Finance department, where he focused on financial risk management and relationships with international lenders. He previously served as head of the Credit department.

Naimjon earned an MS in economics from the Technological University of Tajikistan. He holds the certified accounting practitioner (CAP) designation from the Association of Accountants and Auditors of Tajikistan, the certified public accountant (CPA) designation in the US, and is a CFA charterholder. He is fluent in Tajik, Russian and English and has a working knowledge of Persian.
